I will reserve judgment until I see the detailed patch notes but so far can't see myself returning to playing this game. I am mostly interested in end game since they haven't released any new acts that could draw me in.

The one portal rework is trolling, it's pretending to give players something they asked for without actually giving them what they asked for and potentially taking away and making the game even more tedious without the ability to teleport back for trade or stash gear mid-map. I know they're working on addressing it but it seems like one clunky solution breeds a need for another instead of just hitting the nail on the head and doing the obvious thing.

Some atlas reworks here and there and making towers more rare but bigger radius could help. Still, I can't see myself again traversing a boring landscape with maps I don't want to run. I know there will be a tablet to jump around nodes but I put my money on it being extremely rare and costing multiple-divs very quickly. Some new gems is not enough to draw me back in. Keep cooking GGG, I will keep an eye but play other games in the meantime.

i have a feeling they will utterly obliterate every energy shield build and wont provide alternatives. From what they said they have no clue how to fix armour. So when they nerf ES into the Stoneage we will be stuck with no working defenses.

And what is wrong with that? PoE 1 beta was 2 years and it had maybe 10% of content what will PoE 2 in 1.0 will have if the updates are this big. And I played Poe1 for 13 years. I don't care if Poe2 EA will be 2 years if it is good.
