No more character barks once you did lab1

I realized that with Phrecia.

If you ascend at the end of act 3 in a normal league or standard you do get far less barks and sometimes non at all.

In Phrecia since you dont count as ascended in ANY way you get all the barks till the very end. I heard barks in that event I never heard since I started playing PoE more then 5000 hours ago.

With barks I mean those one-liners after killing monsters or finishing quests your character says.

Is this intended or a bug?
