For-profit businesses improve when (and to the extent) they need to. The way support's management staff run things caused me to stop financially supporting GGG a long time go. It'll keep gradually getting worse, and eventually enough people will be posting on the forum / Reddit / etc. that they stopped buying supporter packs over it that GGG will finally decide it is no longer reasonable to be relying on woefully understaffed email-based support in $currentYear.
Maybe the lucky number is 2025... I'll be honest and say my hopes aren't high. "VPs are not required to change their posting style. Yea i'm still trying to figure out if a nudity filter is off the table lol, i have a 12 year old son who is more than mature enough for everything in the game "i think" i'm not gonna play it without him, we played through poe1 it had very little nudity and was able to be over looked but there is too much in 2 i don't understand how there is a profanity filter and not a nudity one, i don't want it removed for people who want it but i'm married and would prefer not to see it either, not sure why this gets such a hostile reponce from the community, i don't want anything removed i hate people who want things taken away for all, i just want the option to not have it on my sreens and get to play the masterpiece ggg has made void the nudity

Don't expect people to put in more effort on meeting these standards than GGG are. Most people are offering feedback freely, to help improve the game. Don't expect them to go out of their way to scour the forum for a possible duplicate post. If this is a big problem, I would suggest doing a much needed improvement to the search functionality on the forum. It's hard enough for me to find threads that I have created, knowing the content that they contain. To update here, I finally got the link for the shipping payment and paid it yesterday.
Would have been nice if they told me in advance I had to top up another $60 worth of points onto the account instead of being vague about it, but at that point I already paid the shipping fees via that link they sent me. In my opinion, it's a pretty disgraceful way to operate a business, but I'll bite the bullet here and just not invest further into any supporter packs. It does very much seem like they see no issues with the handling of these queries as most normal businesses would take the hit themselves and settle the points scenario as a gesture of goodwill for the horrendous service. Just waiting for them to deduct the points and confirm the shipping details... will keep this thread posted once I do get that sorted. Hopefully my next update here will be somewhat soon and not several weeks/months. |
