Need build help please.

Need some help on my Daryl_Phrecia minion build if possible.
What is happening is i am getting insta killed quite often, sometimes in what should be easy maps.
I suspect my life pool is taking the hit so is there some way i can protect that?
I suspect there is no easy way but asking just in case.
Checked Ninja and my build is pretty much the same as others except for some very expensive jewels/weapons which i can't see improving my defenses.
The CWDT setup on my boots appears to do absolutely nothing.

Can you tell If you're getting full uptime on the flask? Looks like it should be, which should give you the protection. If not, assuming most your life is reserved and you instant die to chaos damage, but I think you can see on your flask bar if it is dropping off?

Should be quite tanky otherwise I would of thought, except maybe against quite large phys damage hits.

The flasks are up 100% of the time so i have no idea how chaos can kill me?
My ES hardly gets touched so it is definitely life loss.

Hmm, that is strange. I don't see anything on the build interacting with the life pool, other than the shield. Was looking for something like forbbiden rite, not seeing anything though.

Haven't gone through everything on your cluster jewel, but don't know of anything it would be on there.

Do you have anything on your AG or specters that might interact?

A lot of questions like this come up with people using the flask and dying, usually they are using ivory tower, but this should be a less convoluted version of that.

Do you have a build guide?

How often is quite often? Are you dying every map, or just on certain maps? I'm assuming it is something with the flask from your description. Is it only happening in maps? Are you running any alters? Searing exarch? Or something like Drought?

From what i can find it is a "bug" with Coruscating Elixir flask.
Apparently when i gets reused, which is every 12 seconds, it can leave you unprotected for a very small amount of time even though nothin indicates that?
I can do a relatively safe t16 map and die 3 times and do a really tough map and not die once. Been checking the map stats but nothing is becoming obvious. Strange thing is i do a lot of delve and i haven't died once there.
Just tried a map and ran out of portals so died 6 times. Every time i died purple flowers were present.

I guess this is the kind of thing you are talking about. Seems to be some conjecture if the reuse transition is completely smooth or not. I would think it is, but don't really know. A lot of people are playing these builds, think it would be fairly well known if there is a gap. It would make the build pretty much unplayable in HC. I don't know how it works exactly though.

There are a few other suggestions in the comments, like a delirium mod "diluting touch", desync and flasks not continuing through zone changes.

I don't know exactly how your build works, but it seems to me like you need to spend 20 charges every 12 seconds and get on average 19.2 charges every 12 seconds from your timeless jewel. If for some reason you are not getting much extra charges from kills during the map or maybe one of these debuff's is hitting you would then start pulling from the other 30 charges. You wouldn't think it would drop off but maybe it is enough for it to fall off some times.

Unfortunately I think main way to check what is causing the deaths in POE is needing to record it and see if you can notice anything on the freeze frame.

That's a wildwood mechanic isn't it? I'm not that familiar with the wildwood as I didn't play that league, except I know it seems very dangerous when I encounter it, and purple usually indicates chaos damage.

I don't really understand how the wildwood works except sometimes it seems to show up on the map even when I haven't gone through the underground section.

Afaik you still need charges for the reuse at end to kick in - which makes those flask mods on remnants really bad for you, as well as anything inhibiting flask charge gain.


Same goes for kill on low life remnants and similar mods - as you're always low life any hit is an instant kill (something that took a while for me to notice on the one low life setup in my roster)

But as he's got an old shavronne's, he's at least immune to the chaos with no down time.

With that said, I think your biggest culprit is the flask downtime - in delve once you start you're pretty much fighting (and generating charges) until they're all dead. Mapping you're more likely to run into flask debuffs (reduced charges, no charges gained) and you're having to pause more often (like waiting for legion to pop)
