Re'link'quary Back Attachment (Settlers Mystery Box mtx)

So I had the pleaure of rolling these wings from the mystery box, they looked pretty cool in the mystery box showcase so I was pretty psyched to get them, only to find out they require "linked skills" to be used in order for them to spread and look like proper wings, which means if I want them to look like actual wings I have to play with other people? This is horrible design for mtx, please address this GGG.

They were specifically designed with this intention to where it's literally in the name.... You also don't need to play with other "people" to use link skills, read the tooltip.

Okay but then again, even if you could use them on a minion or somehow utilize them without another player in your party, nobody uses them, I haven't seen a single build that uses link skills, what are their place in the meta? I don't see a chance for those wings to ever light up, they need to be adjusted.

They are pretty niche, things like AG for valdos maps are one option.
