I understand issues happen but it’s the silence that’s my problem right now. At least if they would check in every couple hours and update on what’s going on I would feel better. They appear to not care about xbox player base when they still have the others up and running. I have a ps5 and if I wanted to really get back in I could. That would require me buying another supporter pack though. I’m not doing that so I’ll wait it out.

Not saying this is a solution for all of you but on my Xbox X, this is what solved the problem.
1 - I looked up what the error code actually says is wrong (Error Code 0x8b050033 says that the Xbox had a system issue during a maintenance). 2 - After reading the error code, I went to check my Xbox for updates. There was one that appeared to be 1/3 of the way complete. 3 - I clicked to have the update completed. 4 - It completed, did a restart and Now the game works just fine. TLDR - Try updating your Xbox. PS - If you are super satisfied with this fix, send me your divines. I think I have found less than half a dozen so far and pretty sure I have concluded I suck at this game. :) jk, keep your stuff! " I just rechecked on my Series X and I am now able to launch the game without issue. I check my last update status and it appears to have finished (fixed itself?) this morning. I cannot say with 100% certainty that this was the reason for the errors before but I am up and running again for whatever that's worth. |

Correct, your own Xbox Updates. Not the games updates. The error code says the Xbox has the issue, not the game. (even though the updated patch originally caused the error within the Xbox not to fully get all updates that the Xbox supposedly needed).

im fully updated on my S and so is the game but i keep seeing the same error code as everyone else. As of 11:42am pst there is still no update from ggg.

Other things I did previously to what fixed it for me was uninstalling the game, restarting the console, installing the game, and then I did the Xbox updates.

yup already did all that twice. games still broken and no response from GGG besides.... "hey guys stop trash talking please thats not cool"

I truly don't know what I did other than go to sleep and go to work, but it's working for me now

I'm on Windows 11 and not through Wine, yet I am still getting the "cheating software" warning. The only thing I use with PoE 2 is a loot filter. So it seems this hotfix only fixed it for Linux/Wine users. I'm heading off on vacation for a week and hopefully it'll be fixed when I return.
