Pointless event.

I tried to participate at first, but after 30 minute i just decided to do something else, there was literally no fun doing it seeing people beam throughout the maps like laser with almost no rime nor reason.

Yes. But I would add a bit more to this number. Like +10-20 people -)

156 people finished the race.... 156! (looks like they shut it down at the 8 hour mark)

That's not a good sign for future PoE2 racing. Looks like community hosted events are way more popular and will have to be the way to go.
