Why is standard not an option to create character?

Just as the title says... wth. I dont see any standard league anymore.

It is an option, but it's also kind of messed up in a way that makes it look like it wasn't tested or thought about.
When viewing the league banners, pressing Left or scrolling up with MousewheelUp should bring Standard into view. |

Standard always is an option BUT you will be VERY POOR compared to 99,9999999% of all standard players.
