Without a balance patch, or at the bare minimum nerfing the overpowered skills ; it's just gonna be the same old.
Lightning Strike this... Lightning Strike that... Lightning Strike this... Lightning Strike that... Already seeing half the build guides on Youtube being that. Come on Affliction and Necropolis worst leagues ever. The current game design has slowly turned this game into a loot-shower fest, chase uniques are way too available; and obtaining chase items through stacked decks simply isn't fun. OMFG.... what a terrible idea to put even more pressure on gold..
And of course, you will leave the gold drop as is right, no buffs? Building the city will cost more or less the same, right? I mean if you will make it 5% cheaper nobody will care. Feels like a terrible league and mechanism for a limited time event. Apart from new ascendancies that might be interesting, everything else feels backwards and a tedious clustef*ck. " Yeah i'm not interested in events. It's cool they are doing SOMETHING but it's obviously just a scramble because of two major blows. 1) They seemingly just said "hey we stopped making POE 1, nobody really cares anymore" -- and we freaked the fuck out. 2) When Jonathan said they were HAPPY with the state of bullshit crafting, it prompted ziz to quit POE 2 and decide it's probably not even the game for him anymore, as well as other notable streamers. POE 1 crafting is NOWHERE near deterministic at all. It needs to be ported over from POE 1 full stop. Or they should not have called this game POE 2. As a gamer new to the POE realm, I am looking for any suggestions as to getting "up to speed" on POE. Any suggestions as to where to look for build planning, tools/add-ons, etc.. would be appreciated.
