PoE 2 has lost over 80% of its players in 3 months.

At peak there was 200k players...As of this week there is about 80k-100k players playing...wtf are you smoking dude.

Edit...there is 110k people playing right now on steam...All time peak in 24 hours was 120k...

Just came back after months. Liked the changes. Wanted to change my ascendancy. Went to the Trial of Chaos. Got to a level where I had to carry stones on my back; got a bug where the stone disappeared from my back, but was still zapping my HP. I think to myself, "Odd, but it's just a bug" and it remedied itself fast too, so whatever. I keep going and then I have to get the last stone. It's up an elevator, I go up and get ganged, sandwiched and can't roll out of a bunch of mobs, BECAUSE SOMEHOW THEY STILL HAVE ANNOYING A- COLLISION ON THEM!!! Insta quit again. I'm not dealing with it. Nope.

... And? Ofc a game has more players at release... It's not like the last Patch changed the game completely. We have a new class, some new ascendencies, more skills/supports and some uniques. Also some changes to endgame. It's a good patch, but many got their fill and wait for full release or something like a league during EA. As long as PoE2 is not under like 50k players after a new update, I don't worry at all.

You should see player number at the mid/end of a PoE1 season and how many players come back after release of a new season. Settlers of Kalguur had more players at release then PoE1 1.0 release had. That's how it's going to be with PoE2 in the end.

Wait...another game has players on it? How dare gamers play anything other than POE 2. If you even see a single person playing another game other than POE 2 that means the game is dead.

No it hasn't. Players will be back

Poe 2 is not mmo. It's 'game as service' means it don't need people to constantly play it.

Even if 10-10% will be play - it is a huge success. Most crap services retain 2% at most
