Diversity is not equal to "busted" power. Diversity is something wildly different. Diversity has almost nothing to do with "buffing" an ascendancy like this. And lets be real: this ascendancy as-is offers PLENTY of diversity for a month of play. You have freaking 20 nodes of extra gear to mess with.

When someone (like me) is saying something is stupid powerful / busted, it is because.....it is stupid powerful and/or busted. Buffs are about power, not diversity.


Scion is RARELY stupid powerful/busted. It is a jack-of-all-trades, as you describe with "diversity", but it was almost never the best choice for any of them. With these nodes, it is almost guaranteed to be the best choice for MANY builds.

Heck....having a free Shavs ONLY is already game-breakingly powerful for ALL low life ES builds. Plus it opens an entire world of build creations that weren't even possible without this node.

Ascendant is piss weak compared to Scavenger.

Like, it's not even close. It's like 30-40 times weaker. Scavenger is beyond OP.

But even if you define "strength" as "diversity", Scavenger is probably still the single class with the most diverse options in this event. If you don't see diversity here, then you're self reporting massive skill issue.

Scion is my favourite class by far and has been since her release. The first class I bothered getting to 100. I'm extremely happy that I'll get to play with this absurdly broken ascendancy for a month. If I could replace Trash Ascendant with Scavenger in standard, I'd do it with my eyes closed.

And yet another person who thinks I have a skill issue.
I´ve been playing and playtesting her on two seperate accounts (guild+private) for six years now.

As I´ve said: Perhaps I am not seeing as much value as others because I have NEVER played a different class and all my builds were 30m Shaper dps max, with an emphasis on being tanky.

So skill issue: Maybe? Guess I´ll have to PoB something fresh this time.
