And here come the POE2 players that want POE1 players to beta test their crap. Then they will say "just go play POE1." Sick of this. God I wish I could refund every supporter pack I have ever bought.

i think the atlas tree is a better system for poe1.
ggg think the atlas tree is a better system for poe1 too. how do we know that? because we have an atlas tree in poe1 and a relic system is an idea that didnt make the cut that is getting thrown into a 1 month funs league comprised of ideas that didnt make the cut. there is fun to be had with it, theyre not replacing all the ascendancies and the atlas tree with this untested idea jank, theyre putting them in a league for a month and you can have some crazy fun trying something new. enjoy it for what it is while it exists. I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

This is an event. Events are supposed to be different. Would i prefer the atlas passive tree over relics in the long run? Of course, the atlas passive tree is probably the best thing that has happened to PoE 1 in a long time. But in an event... To make it different? Sure, I'll play with relics. And it seems like it will be way crazier at the high end, at least to specialize into one or two mechanics.
And who knows, if it turns out fun, maybe we'll get a nerfed version of this on top of the atlas tree, even though I doubt it. personally think it's a blast for an event. imagine strongboxes with 100%+ chance to be opened again or every blueprint fully revealed xd great to play that a month long xd
