Auction House when?

People are complaining about abusers of the system. And needing x2 more premium stash tabs to be even able to use Auction House sucks.
WE'RE FINALLY getting asymmetric trading. If anyone dares to complain at this point, you know that person is a spoiled little shit that will never get pleased, should be ignored, blocked and honestly banned by GGG outright because they're here to just disrupt the community with nonsense.

That being said, well done poe players for pushing this so ggg finally gave us headacheless trading. But It's time to stop. We got exactly what we wanted, or more so what we needed.

All the whiners should be able to use only the good old forum posts for selling and buying.

Nice to see the update for the in game browser as well.

Even GGG was complaining about potential abusers, that is why they implemented protective measures. Stop simp.

This shuts down price fixers because what is listed has to be committed.

Yeah, there's no way they'll just stick to throwing fake prices on hoards of items in "regular premium tabs" instead of moving forwards and putting them into the new "merchant premium tabs".
quickedit: somehow, half a sentence didnt go through

Sure they can have their little niche in premium tabs w/o converting. They just remain stuck there in oblivion.

At least those who could potentially use don't need to be frustrated with dealing with non-responders (or at the mercy of) if they so choose.

Willing buyer, willing seller.

They should put up a poll to see who will continue to use prem stash tabs.

Honestly, I really don’t understand all the complaints going around right now. Not long ago, we were the ones asking for changes with solid, valid reasons. We were the ones pointing out the flaws and demanding improvements. And now that we finally got a system that directly addresses the biggest pain point, instant trade availability and offline trade, instead of appreciating that, some people immediately start whining again.

This new system may not be flawless, but let’s be realistic: no system ever is at launch. What matters is that it solves the most crucial problem players have struggled with for years. Being able to trade instantly and even while offline is a game changer, something that countless players have been asking for. On top of that, adding a cooldown on removing items is actually a clever move against price fixing, which has always been one of the dirtiest issues in the market.

And here’s another important reminder: the old system is still going to be there. Nobody is forcing anyone to give it up, so nothing is being taken away from you. We’re only gaining more options, and more flexibility.

That’s why I think it’s way too early, and honestly quite unfair, to start throwing negativity before even trying it out. We should first experience it, test it thoroughly, and then give constructive feedback based on actual usage, not on assumptions or worst-case scenarios in our heads. Talking negatively without giving it a chance either shows impatience, or makes it look like there are other intentions behind the criticism.

For me personally, I’m happy with what we have so far. It’s a step in the right direction. And like with every system, it can be polished and improved over time, but only if we approach it with fairness and support rather than blind negativity.

So instead of being stuck in endless complaints, let’s try it out, see how it actually works in practice, and then discuss how it can be refined further. That’s the constructive approach, and that’s how we’ll get the best possible system in the long run.

The complainers about this system make me sick. Proof you just cannot make some people happy. Obviously GGG will monitor and make changes where needed.
Sheesh.

I have already said many times that the most simple and direct implementation of trading would be making an auction house. But GGG will not make an auction house. The answer is simple. It's all about making revenue and income.

Why do we have asynchronous trading soon in the new league? And why do we need merchant tabs for asynchronous trading? Any why do players need to spend money to buy merchant tabs? This is doing multiple steps and making multiple layers to mechanics just to get trading done.

Why not just implement an auction house where you do not need to buy merchant tabs for trading? This is just a single step and single layer to get trading done. Just an auction house. Simple. Not need to hype sounding names like "asynchronous trading" or "merchant tab" which is all about selling mtx to make more revenue and income for GGG.

All these shenanigans about "asynchronous trading" and "merchant tabs" are all about GGG making revenue and making income, and it is less about benefitting the players.
