I simply hate that Ruthless and PoE2 now dictate how PoE1 should be played, especially now knowing that they decided to have PoE2 as a standalone game years ago but continued to nerf PoE1.

Yeah, I feel exactly the same. They have PoE2 for boring and slow gameplay, why not allow PoE1 have that frantic zoom-zoom gameplay since they're two separate games now anyway.

This looks like fun to me and will definitely test it out... But, I am not sure if it was said anywhere, I hope that at least necro settlers stays too. That this event is not replacement for it. Still have plans with my build there which I wanna try to achieve. And btw I think it would be great idea to merge settlers and necro settlers into Necro Settlers (ofc xD). Necro league mechanic is just much better and i have zero doubt people would enjoy it more than regular settlers. But sadly only few people plays it which makes it too much of SSF right now. Not a problem for me, but big problem for newer players.
