What it would take for GGG to get this POE1 player back?

Just go play PoE1. This could be a list of ways PoE2 and PoE1 are different and it would look mostly the same.
they need to just dump poe1

why try and jungle 2 games..

specially 2 very similar games. say what u will but both games are extremely similar.

just put poe1 in legacy mode so people can keep their stuff. but all support and only address critical bugs/issues

no game company is good enough to jungle multiple titles. they either have financial issues, staffing issues, or something to prevent multiple titles from being at their best

just embrace the new game and make it as great as possible and dont spread your resources/time over multiple titles. its a fools errand.
After leveling three characters to over 90, I stopped playing Poe2. When is the 3.26 league coming? I'm not going to play Poe-2 again until you treat your Poe player base right, the ones who got you where you are you greedy beast.

Your Poe-2 is still years away, maybe 4 or 5, from being on par with the original Poe. That's why, if you think about it, they don't put anything into Poe-1 so that nobody leaves Poe-2.

But they are wrong, I and many others left a long time ago and will not be back for a long time, from what I see, they have to support Poe-1 again or they will lose a lot of income, because we hate their Poe-2 and their Rutless vision etc.

And I'm not crying, I'm playing other games. There are more out there, GGG/Tencent is not the center of the universe.

alas it is so far away that they wont even tell us how far away it is. I would bet about June they will announce they are putting POE1 on mainentance only and without regular content updates it will die.

I didn't think I would disagree with every single one of your points, but I do.

Well that is your opinion, to which you are entitled. But, it is a very narrow minded one. I am not the only one who would want a good portion of this list.

Nor is he/she the only one who disagrees with your list. by that argument, your opinion is also a narrow minded one. ;)

Ok got a video of an RF build that clears mobs 3 screens away like herald of ice does in POE2? I would be interested to see it. Even if it exists I bet it cost like a thousand divine which means it would be SUPER LATE league and that is fine with me.

Lets just reason through this to see if we can understand your assertion here.

HoI in PoE2 clears "3 screens away," which means your play consists of hitting a button, then walking through lifeless terrain doing naught-all for three screens to find something to do, then repeating this. Then it gets unclear, are saying there is no boss left because it got killed three screens back, or do you now have to actually fight the boss, even if it goes quick?

RF in PoE lets you basically stroll right through the screens watching things die because they got close enough to you, and it is happening the whole way to the boss. Then when you get to the boss you have to stand there a moment and let them die as well.

In both cases the clearing is trivial. In both cases the boss is mostly trivial. That one does it as you walk and the other in tiny bursts is irrelevant to the result.

The one thing I think could potentially be meaningfully different is that killing something three screens away means it's ODE won't hit you. But then again since RF just has you keep moving, you aren't hanging around for the ODE anyway, so probably not a meaningful difference.

I am simply not seeing a meaningful difference. Where are you seeing it?
its a new day, and a new Kraythax thread! How original.

did you...never play an rf build? Its pretty standard that they ran either corpse explosions and/or annihilation/ignite prolif boots to blow up entire screens. Hardly required any currency (comparatively). Standard versions of rf were even more ridiculous, where you could get a screen-sized radius ON TOP OF multiple on-kill explosion effects followed by proliferations. It is true though that those tended to cost a LOT of currency since the items are legacy.

Pretty much your typical RF build right there. From the master himself. Granted, that particular video is old (and crucible league), but you can look at nearly any modern rf build video and see the same. I just went with link #1

Oh shoot....shouldn't have responded again. Forgot who wrote that post! Obv dude has no idea what hes talking about
