Evasion with global defense relics + honour resistance

I love trials, really. Very hard for the first few times and very easy and fast after some knowledge)))

Trials are tough the first 10 times you do them. The secret lies in completing floors to unlock relic slots and getting or buying good relics to increase honour, honour resistance, and defences. If you have hp and or energy shield you get a good amount of honour. Then, the goal is to go for sacred water, merchants, and blessing of the winds rooms while avoiding bad afflictions. Avoid choosing afflictions that get rid of your defenses (energy shield, evasion, armour), avoid afflictions that nerf merchant options or prices, and avoid other afflictions like reduced movement speed by 25% or gain afflictions when using shrine or when you get another affliction, these are bad and can pile up quickly.
Also keep in mind that visiting shrines to change trial parameters can help you pick up good boons at a cost of taking some damage or get rid of bad afflictions for only a cost of 5 sacred water. You wanna get great minor boons like Hare Foot (40% increased movement speed), Ornate Dagger (50% increased damage), reduced merchants prices, can see additional rooms ahead, increased relic effect as, etc. You get a merchant (Balbala) at the end of each floor and sometimes throughout trial floors where u can spend your sacred water for good boons. Always talk to merchant to see what they have or u can afford before clicking door to advance to next floor. As for Zarokh the 4th floor boss, it's all about damage and having good movement speed for hourglass phases. To help clarify there are different types of shrines. Mereketh shrines that shrines that restore honour. The other shrines are shrines that allow you to make pledges to change trial parameters (affect outcome of the trial by changing up boons and afflictions). It's important that you don't make a pledge to gain a random affliction with these shrines regardless of how good the boon may be as it can make you gain a bad affliction that can brick your character or make the rest of trial harder for you. As you practice these trials you'll notice there are minor boons, major boons, minor afflictions, and major afflictions and the difference between them. Practice is key. " Not every trial is going to be the same, the RNG for every level is just annoying. I hear watch a YouTube every time from the more experienced player, yes it can help, Trials will never be the same as the video you watch, yes you can know what to pick. The game as way too many penalties, The only penalty should be death. When you get All Afflictions that suck, you just deal with it or spend hours trying to find a different Trial? It just feels like a chore everytime I am in the Trials or Endgame maps. Its very difficult to find resistances or Armour. Trials and Endgame overall needs a rework. I hope that the devs really rethink of all the penalties they have in the game There are 6 in the game, if they want to target the causal player the way they have the Trails and Endgame mapping is not Fun. Campaign is so much fun. I understand that you are trying to help. Do you want the game to make changes for the causal player that just wants to chill? Also people cant spend hours practicing everyday to learn every nuance. |

They turned an optional mechanic from POE1 into a mandatory mechanic in POE2.
In POE1, people only went in with a specific build that would clear enemies off screen without any worry. It's a bad mechanic, but I don't know how they could fix it without gutting it completely. Tala Moana, Exile.

I just don't enjoy doing them. I don't find its a good use of my free time. So I pay someone 40ex to do all 8 ascendency points.
