Lol. Started playing this game again around two weeks ago after two years offline because they fucked up the whole system back then,... came back full of vigor, only to witness this poopshow and devs still shitting on their own plates. No thanks, I'm opting out again. See you in two years if the game will even be here.

Hi!
I have no problem with there being no new league, but I was hoping that the Settlers League wouldn't be pulled while Poe2 is being tested and improved, but that the Settlers League would end and go to standard. It would be better because those who don't like Poe2 or don't want to play it, e.g. their computer is too weak for it and they continue to play Poe1, would then be in one place, there would be no congestion in both Standard and Settlers. Again new player here for both games.
I honestly dont get this either. POE1 by far has been a much better experience getting started and having fun in than POE2. POE2 honestly stresses me out at every turn XD. I have barely played both games. POE1 - ~level 30 done with act 1 and 2 POE2 Done with act 1 and just starting act 2 From just starting both games out I am so confused as to why so many systems I was showing off to my friend in the first one has disappeared to be replaced by some other thing that feels like it was implemented with the soul idea of saving the dev team time and not the player experience. Its actually wild how much better the first plays. Again I plan on playing both. POE1 with my friend and the 2nd by myself. So far though, where is the board you can join up with people at if its there I cant find it XD. The gem system feels kind of terrible. I liked the unique feeling of the old one knowing that maybe by some chance I would have a gem combo that someone else hadn't thought of. Now you cut everything and the gems are recommended? Anyway, yeah totally agree. Hope they decide to keep the support up of the first one. | |

pppff man this is so disappointing from GGG.
I played PoE2 for about 6 weeks, but now I'm completely burned out on it. I'm also not sure if I will even play patch 0.2.0 because there are so many things that bother me about the base game and the direction of where the devs want it to go. It has a chance to become a really good game in a year (or 2) but with some of the design decisions that are currently in the game I really don't think its my game until it's at a much later stage of development. Meanwhile I started a new character in PoE1 on SSF for the first time, and I am having an absolute blast. It feels like coming home after a vacation. Sure at first being in a new place is pretty great and you are enjoying yourself, but after a few weeks you start missing home and all the convenience you have there. Sure the short vacation was great but there is no place like home. That is what it felt to me going from PoE1 to PoE2 and back to PoE1 again. Please for the love of Atziri, get a new league done for PoE1 a.s.a.p. I will not be supporting the game(s) until then... |
