Bahahahaha called it ages ago. Happy to see the house burning down around you. Literally exhausted every last ounce of community goodwill.

And for what? To take resources away from a successful, good product and dump them into something that was a swing and a miss. All because you couldn't stomach the idea that PoE1 did not adhere to "the Vision". All because you thought you could keep lying to the longtime paying customers and lure in new buyers at the same time. All because of greed.

Talk about horrible decisions.

Yes, PoE2 EA was a massive success saleswise. Tencent made sure there were plenty of variety content creators bringing in the hype and the initial sales. That's a one-time trick you had up your sleeve; It will not happen again. None of these tourists will return. Most of them failed to complete the campaign. Most of them are gamehoppers who play something once, and never again. Why you thought you could make them into longtime players is beyond me. The feedback from the veterans is loud and clear; PoE2 is a bad game, and a shameful display for a company that put out the best arpg the world has ever seen.


Just bite the bullet and announce that support for poe1 will end. Let's see this house of cards crumble.

Probably gonna get banned for this, but it's worth it.

It is hard to believe that they will release 3.26 close to the new POE2 patch. So we are looking at the earliest end of March. Pulling everyone from POE1 is not okay, POE2 is early access, while POE1 is the fully released game. The core players should be getting updates while POE2 is being worked on not the other way away around. First time since POE1 beta that I have been disappointed in GGG.

You frauds sold supporter packs to people under the guise that they were funding further development of their beloved game and then rug pulled us all by spending that money on some garbage "sequel" and leaving us all out in the cold.

It feels like this is so scummy it should be borderline illegal. This was supposed to be essentially an expansion to PoE 1, not the death of the entire series.

I wish you the best with PoE2, it's not for me, with a heavy heart I say goodbye. It was a great run, great memories.

I bought a supporter pack with completely different information than presented above. I regret this very much and feel misled
