I love PoE1 and I can't wait for the new league, but I understand the decision and I felt it might be the case as the launch of PoE2 was a really big thing. I really hope that once the dust settles a little bit you will be able to support both games with the same quality content. Fingers crossed and thanks for your awesome work as PoE2 looks already great and I'm sure it will get even better over time.

应该以POE1为重点，毕竟POE1是一个成熟的游戏，应该在保证POE1每三个月的更新前提下去开发POE2，因为POE2的问题还很多，需要大量的时间和技术去完善它。

That are some sad news. As PoE and PoE2 are two different games, but i like them both, i was hyped for the switching seasons of these games. As a fellow programmer i do understand, that there are times where you have to make tough decisions. And i have still trust in GGG. In fact i am more sad to see how quick this community can switch to the extreme. As fellow gamer i also do understand that it can be frustrating to have to wait. But speaking like hiobsmessages hitting us, when you clearly can see why it is happening. Maybe it is a testament of our time, that most of the things have to be expressed in the extreme.
In the end, at least for me i can say: I am not happy with what is happening, in GGG and in the community. But i can just wait for the next update. Until then, if i want, i play PoE and if not, i have enough other games to play until the next update. Do not let your fun be ruined because of one step back. " Dude, we are turning against ggg, cuz 1) they hold info about another delay till the last possible day, and it won't be 1 month delay, it will be actually 3+ month one, which almost makes settlers a year old league. 2) They prioritise EA game over content for completed game, which actually allowed them to create that ea game 3) They said, poe2 development won't influnce on poe1 development - and what do we see now? 4) We didn't even get anything for poe 1, like events, economy reset or something. While you're at it , now that you tested the PoE2 particle system in PoE - care to remove it and just keep it in PoE 2 for the new leagues ?

I saw the youtube video by Jonathan. The situation is that their one team of developers will not be able to simultaneously handle both poe1 and poe2.
Hence the next best logical thing to do would be to scale down their expectations and only release one league per year for both poe1 and poe2. I am expecting something like 6 months of league (Jan to June) for poe1 and 6 months of league (July to Dec) for poe2, which would be a more viable timeframe rather than squeezing multiple leagues within a year for both games at the same time. 34pre98qua
