A Message to Path of Exile 1 Players

Only the most delusional people didn't see this coming

GGG should just re-release a league from the past, its better than not releasing anything. They could create a poll for players to vote on leagues that haven't had their content added to the current game.

Personally, my fav leagues were:

Ancestors League - with the fun Trial of The Ancestors, silver coins and the NPC Navali

Scourge - with their crazy corrupted maps and item mods

Sentinel - with Recombinators and Power Cores


This would give them another 3-4 months to organize their teams

Is this an out of season April fools joke?

It's a shame, really.

GGG has become wealthy and popular because of PoE 1.
The main playerbase comes from PoE 1.
GGG could create PoE 2 because of PoE 1

GGG made promises about PoE 2 ; they clearly stated it won't affect PoE 1 and it's updates. I don't think it was a lie, but clearly a white lie. And of course they understood that if they took some workers from PoE 1 to PoE 2, it would clearly affect the first game in a negative way.

GGG knows that the big money now and in the future will come from PoE 2 and that's why they don't focus on the first game; they should just tell us this instead of excuses.

You love our support but choose to SHIT on all of us by doing this to poe 1
the game we loved and the game that made you what you are today

From the moment they announced that PoE 2 would be a completely separate game from PoE 1, with the devs' subsequent claim that "PoE 2's only competitor would be PoE 1", it was clear that we would reach this point. Even the import of all cosmetic items from PoE 1 (the "money" invested by supporters over at least a decade) should already be a clear sign, right? As someone said in another post, "it's time to move on, whether it's PoE 2 or not, or cling onto a dying game"... #sad
