Honestly, I don't understand how you can be a fan of poe2 at this stage. I mean that I will understand beginners who have not played poe1, but I will not understand those people who can compare poe1 and poe2 from their own experience. poe2 at this stage is just a piece of ̶s̶h̶i̶t̶ product trimmed from all sides. compared to poe1

The key is I do not compare them, I view them as different games with my 6 K hours in PoE helping my knowledge and decision-making in PoE 2, so far that approach has worked great for me.

you are contradicting yourself. How can the experience of a previous game help in a new game if the games are different? it means they are not so different if you transfer the experience from the last game. which means there is a comparison. think about the logic before writing your next message

This announcement Dissapointing in an incredible level, even a mini league reusing old content would be good at this point

Poe 2 player base is going down every week, as the new players reach endgame and see how unbalanced and shit it is.

Player peak in Poe 2 fell from 280k to 170-180k players in 3 weeks more or less.

This will probably go down amongst the sheer amount of upsets this video understandably has brought, however:

This cannot and I repeat, this cannot be the way of communication or the way of running things. Dedicating ALL of your resources for a game that may got a lot of players in the beginning but has started a decline fairly quickly, does not make any sense.

Path of Exile 2 is a new game and any new game historically need a ton of attention for it to become anything. Path of Exile 1 however is a game where you have finished the basics of the game and just need to deliver a CONTENT update which is significantly less work than trying to stabilize a fresh and unstable and most importantly NEW game.

You have your fanbase for Path of Exile 1 ready at all times and shifting your priorities solely to Path of Exile 2 is imminent to be a disaster.
The correct order would be to have enough people working on the content update for Path of Exile 1 and then dedicate your resources to the new game because then Path of Exile 1 will only need maintanence to fix anything game breaking or any bugs and stuff of that type.

Then again me writing this should mean nothing because you have successfully run this game more than 10 years and should know this by know.
The excuse of saying "We did not think managing two games would be this challenging" does not count. Yes that may be the case but then you would shift a gear down and focus on the more important thing which is unarguably Path of Exile 1.

Instead what is GGG doing? Shifting another gear up and going all in with Path of Exile 2 and just yoloing their fanbase and saying "Hey guys we messed up we are sorry, but we also will not give you anything to satisfy you, so just hold up, we promise it will be great!!!!!!"

Im not exaggerating by saying the hype for anything Path of Exile related is gone for me personally and probably for the vast majority of people.

You do not even capitalize your sentences properly, so maybe think about that next time you comment. Regarding your opinion, game sequels inherently use some mechanics from previous titles, thus previous knowledge can be used to familiarize yourself better with said mechanics.
