I really love both games, and was hoping me and my friends could play another poe league before the real release of poe2. GGG still has credits with me - Its the only company in gaming that I really believe. But Blizzard once held that position, and look at what it became. Please dont betray us. Please dont become another Blizzard.

Thanks for everything POE1, truly loved the game and everything they put into it. The player freedom, constant updates made this my GOAT game. Sad to see it go so abruptly and in such a ugly way. Loved taking league start days off and playing all weekend with my guild.

People always talked about POE1 being a second job to play, unfortunately that is the reality with poe2. A whole lot of grinding with nothing to show for it. After playing EA and reading about design choices and where they want to take the game. The series is done for players who have other things in their lives going on.

I miss the phrase: "Hi, I'm Chris Wilson".

I'm not very good at properly writing out my thoughts so apologies if this reads like a 12 year old wrote it :p

I'm pretty disappointed that poe 1 has been left by the wayside considering it is your main game that you've committed to keep updating and supporting. Before launch we were told that poe2 would not affect the updates and development. This appears to have been a lie from the get go. If it was known that there were major issues to the game in July that would require all hands on deck to get in the state we received it then poe2 should have been delayed further not by weeks but by months. To launch a game 3 weeks before the Christmas break, when you know the business would be closed for an extended period of time,to then have everyone on their return focus development efforts on a game that is still in early access and is known to be incomplete instead of your actual live game, which you know your own customers of waiting for the next update screams poor planning and project management.

I want to end my rambling, by saying that I do enjoy both games, but I wish poe2 had spent more time in the oven before being released out to us in the state it was, and it should have never taken development priority over your existing live service game.
