A Message to Path of Exile 1 Players

"
"poe 2 has its own team and its development will not impact poe 1 or its updates"

"we wanted to launch in october for poe 1 but poe 2 was just too hectic"

buddy...

what

This is the thing right, if we were told that PoE 1 would be taking a backseat for a while because they needed to pull the team off of leagues and onto PoE 2 for early access end game there'd be disappointment but peoples expectations would be managed.

Also to all the people saying things along the line of "PoE 1 will be a dead game and we all know it, get over it" 1. GGG said it wouldn't be and 2. It's still their only fully released game and should be treated as such. THIS is why I dislike early access games, they're in this weird no mans land of expectation and vagueness, players make demends of the early access game "no no this is EA, you can't expect that" player makes demands of fully released game "no no they have the new game to focus on".

I've done nearly everything I want to do in PoE 2 and Settlers League, this whilst dipping in and out of other games, it would have been great to have a new PoE 1 league with some new mechanics/balances/etc until 0.2.0 is out.
I personally have no big problem with waiting, I just hope to see at least a few good leagues in PoE 1 during which GGG would cook on PoE 2 to make it fun for everyone including me
It's really a shame that GGG is based in NZ and as a result they aren't capable of finding any actual talent to work on their game. Jonathan is completely out of his depth, the rest of the devs can't even manage to get a waystone stash tab released in 8+ weeks of work. This entire company is a complete joke and the leadership, if you can even call it that, is even worse. Jonathan is a disgrace and there is no excuse for him keeping his job. Put mark in charge of everything and let him hire people from other countries so he can actually have a good team. He's clearly the only competent dev on the entire island.
i need use my mtx in poe2 plis add pach for use my cosmetic in poe2 o rewards my poin in packs poe 1 for use in poe2
Couldn't even watch through half of the video without getting frustrated over this massive fumble. Coming from someone who has devoted his time to PoE1, and has absolutely no plans on touching PoE2, I can safely say that myself as well as many other diehard PoE1 (standard mostly) players will eventually drop our support for this game as well as this company due to their mismanagement, and them putting PoE2 over the game some of us love. Sucks that I've invested in GGG, thinking that it would go towards bettering the superior game... but nope, like many other aspects I was wrong.

Rest assured, when PoE1 finally dies.. players who don't plan on touching PoE2 are going to somehow want their money back. You've repeatedly deceived your loyal player base GGG for MANY years now: from all the unnecessary (and under the radar, unaddressed) changes, to not dealing with the rampant bugs and issues the game suffers to this day.

From one of your many disgruntled players,

Thanks a lot for ever-so slowly killing the game we love.
So now that we have PoE2, GGG needs to revert the nerfs to 'slow down' PoE1.

Never forget the great Alt Qual Gem deletion, the Ex > Div swap and loss of various crafting methods. Bring back Fire Nova Mine!

Enjoy Path of Nerfs Dos!!

Guys lol, Jonathan is just a pawn, look

As of March 25, the game and company GGG is 100% owned by SIXJOY HONG KONG LIMITED, a subsidiary of Tencent.

Former owners Christopher W., Jonathan R., and Erik O. have sold all their shares to SIXJOY. They no longer hold any ownership stakes but remain listed as directors—positions that SIXJOY can revoke at any time.

You can verify this information through the official New Zealand Companies Office:
[Official Company Records](https://app.companiesoffice.govt.nz/companies/app/ui/pages/companies/1887410/documents)

Additionally, there are unconfirmed rumors suggesting that Christopher W. hasn’t been present in the office for an extended period.

Make of this what you will.

He just talks but doesn't make decision, the real truth is chinese overlords decided to follow the money, much same as Jonathan and Chris and everyone else who sold their shares. Doesn't even matter what they say, it will be as china says, that's it.

You clearly don't know the difference between shareholding and business positions. Stop spreading bs if you know nothing about it

The 4chan leak was literally real omg.
What a bloody joke. You thought can you can run 2 different games with the same dev team?

What happened to the previous statements that you made were you promised that poe 1 wont be affected by poe 2 development. Since the announcement of poe 2 sadly you have just put out lie after lie about the games.

Most of the community already knows that you will end up closing one of the games because of how you handle things so just rip the bandage and get it over with.
Let them cook.

So while I agree that GGG aren't steering the ship at the moment with regards to early access etc this isn't a Chinese government/company issue, this is a big publisher with shareholders issue, just like at Blizzard Activision, Ubisoft etc.
