A Message to Path of Exile 1 Players

Is there any possibility we could have access to "necro-settlers" private leagues in the mean time? Myself and a lot of friends are dying to play some poe 1 right now and that would go a long way for facilitating that.

If poe 2 was clearly not ready, they could have just not push it out in december before they go on holidays and all and just wait with it , not leading to all this trouble. But they wanted the numbers and money from it most likely. This is a consiquence of it. Saying people should just smile for it is kinda silly. |

I am very happy with this response. PoE 1 players in here are acting and sounding like a bunch of spoiled brats. I've played PoE 1 since launch, and even I know that PoE 2 is the future of the company. It is more accessible to new players, and will be a greater stream of income. It makes no sense from a business perspective to prioritize company resources for PoE 1 over PoE 2, and if you think it does, you're a delusional idiot sipping on liquid copium. And let's not forget about the absolutely massive gameplay QOL features that PoE 2 has added as an improvement from PoE 1, and the enhanced graphical fidelity/animations, etc.
PoE 1 is a great game. For the most part, it is polished and refined. But that's after 12 years of development. PoE 2 has barely been out 2 months, and is already displaying an amazing foundation to build off of as content continues to be added in the future. If you think GGG is going to listen to your whining because your favorite game's next league is being postponed when PoE 2 needs all hands on deck to be at its best, then you're stupid and insane. You don't work at GGG, and most of you likely haven't done any sort of game development like I have. I get what these guys are saying on a personal level. A project on this scale is a tremendous amount of work, and Jonathan and the rest of his team have historically been beyond transparent with their development. At the very least, they deserve our understanding when they say that they are doing the best they can to allocate the right amount of resources to satisfy the majority of the playerbase, because right now and likely for many years to come, the majority of their playerbase is playing PoE 2. Again, PoE 1 is an amazing game. But it is also extremely outdated. You will get your new league when the time comes. Until then, quit your Karen wailing and let PoE 2 shine in the spotlight like it deserves. There's nothing you can do to change it, so either keep crying, or accept reality. |

Wow, what a dissapointment, I gave you guys money for poe2 because of your track record, I went in blind for a surprise, paying for early access, despite my hatred for it thinking "It'll be fine, ggg is a great company, they can't possibly mess this up" and you saying PoE 2 wouldn't affect poe1. I want a refund for PoE 2. I personally hate it, you guys forgot all the lessons you learned from poe 1. I want to play PoE 1, not this souls-like BS with completely different gameplay.

About poe1...Well, if you don't have time because of the large number of tasks, give the players at least something!!!?? There are options. For example, run a successful league for a month (while you are working on bugs 2). For example, Affliction. It doesn't matter if there are bugs..Give something to the players. we don't see your work. There is nothing to do in either poe 1 or poe 2 |
