SOFTCORE VS HARDCORE MODE....

Hardcore is much more gradual and slow if you play it right. You ease into every difficulty increase and only move up if you're feeling "strong". Where softcore, you're used to just pushing limits with no regard because there is very little consequence if you're not ready for the next stage of difficulty.

It's a much more methodical and sentient way of approaching the game. You don't do things you're not prepared for, and you actually develop an understanding of what you're prepared for through grinding literal experience and being patiently observant.

It's not even more complicated, it's just that hardcore players are naturally better at the game because of the approach they have to make toward the game. The chemistry of the parameters results in much higher level game sense. It just works, until you get overconfident or impatient.

Like really, you say you keep dying on T12 maps, why are you doing them if your character is getting destroyed by them?

Because you can't progress your Atlas unless you are doing Higher Tier maps to where you are. Im at T12 and need to complete T12+ , there is no progress in doing something lower.

Progressing your atlas just makes it harder, if you're not ready to safely or reliably play T12 then you have to grind below that level until you can.

This stuff is automatically clear to the hardcore player because they will die if they don't play this way, but softcore players have the ability to brute force something they're not strong enough over and over even though they shouldn't be playing at that level yet. It's like the definition of insanity.

The progress you have is to grind gear(grinding gear games) until you're able to play at the level that gives you atlas progress. It's good that you get your map and xp deleted because it at least makes you a little bit more in touch with the reality of where you're at.
I keep hearing over and over from complainers like the OP that only bots and super hardcore player can play the endgame. I just want to say that's not true at all, in reality all you guys do is projecting your bad play/build, you don't even need a meta build to do the end game.

Sure not all builds are very strong, at some point I couldn't do high tier maps because I was still under level 80 and still had gear from cruel campaign, I kept playing, kept learning the game and kept crafting and eventually I got better gear, optimized my build and now I do high tier maps without much trouble and I didn't even have to trade. You have to use the tools you've been given.

Progress in the game like an RPG and you'll find success.

Im actually half way to T13+ ;). Completed 3 T12 maps and 3 more remains to T13+ "Not ready" 🤣. I will not grind below the level I am at. I will grind on my current level or above. That's the only way to progress.

But this game is not an RPG so you go ahead and go progress in this game like an RPG. Save that crap for yourself 👋🏽

That's fine, brute forcing does work in softcore. Eventually you will get lucky and get the 3 remaining clears. You're the one who made the thread asking how it is possible in hardcore. I gave you the answer: by playing differently than you.

Still 6+ or 8+ months until League release, then I will give Hardcore mode a try. For now I am training myself to boost my skills. I even started to play pretending that I am playing Hardcore which also helps me progressing currently through maps run.
