GGG i beg you PLEASE FIX THE CPU AND GRAPHICS LOAD

no matter how good your machine is. It's definitely down to GGG. I hope they will optimize a lot more
Agreed, CPU usage needs serious optimization.
I find funny every time I start the game it complains my drivers are not up to date... but exactly me with my drivers from 2023 do not have any performance issues or crashes :P
Optimizations will definitely come before 1.0. However, they improve all the time. Record some examples to show the issues along with your dxdiag.

ya, CPU usage needs serious optimization.
Unfortunately cpu and gpu usage will not fix the lag spikes and stutter. I average under 40% cpu usage. GPU is about the same. I don't have a high end system what so ever. AMD 5500 paired with a 6600. 32 g ram and its not fast ram.
I even run it off an HD instead of a more modern storage device like SSD or nvme.

Game will still dip with horrible fps drops. They have WAY too much operating through a single thread of the cpu. One core maxes out and that is when the fps drops. It is failing to finish all calculations within the update frame which causes fps loss.

And this doesn't strike you as a potential reason for the bad performance?

I'm running this game on 4k res with a gtx1080ti and a ryzen 7 1800x.

3 TV's too.

I have no issues.

And how could be useful your post?
Also having slight cpu problems with poe2.

My problem is i am having heavy fps drop at the start of a new atlas Map,
When i have the gps/cpu overlay to see ms to gpu/cpu.
I notice my cpu cant keep up the first 30-90 second of a new map depending on how heavy the map layout it, so if i start killing directly fps goes all over the place from 5 fps up to 90 fps,

so at the start of a map i press Esc to pause, wait till cpu ms stabilizes again and then continue playing the map, its like there is just a big back order of cpu work to be done at the start of a map and my cpu cant handle that fast enough, with out pausing first till the majority of work load is done.
4 of the core's are being used to 100% max, and the rest idles during the esc phase, other 8 core's are just idles most of the time.

Playing as: Stormweaver, 2 builds, spark & lightning warp, the lag is even before having cast a single spell, i know my fps/resolution will drop heavenly when i start casting.

Yes, the graphics are one thing. But when it comes to the CPUs (no matter which one), GGG urgently needs to improve. It can't be that the load is so high, especially when so much is happening on the screen.
