Demon Form not working

In two instances I've not been able to use demon form: when I took the heightened curse support gem out of blasphemy skill and when I used a certain amulet, despite it working with NO amulet previously. Any help would be appreciated ty

Did you add a support gem like Vitality to Demon Form, giving it a Spirit reservation?
