Zalmarath issues

My group and I have also had the invulnerability issue. We find it happens when a melee character gets too close to him. Zalmarath either pulls you in to his hitbox off the map or in our case, my ice walls pushed our warrior into him and then he becomes invulnerable again. It was pretty consistent when I was putting my ice walls on him and the warrior was in just the wrong position.

Worth looking into as it is pretty easy to replicate.

Same issue here. Haven't had this issue before. Relatively easy kill, but trying again, full melee. Zalmarath still invulnerable.

Invulnerable again in replay. Doesn't seem like the hitbox is registering hits at all.


Quit out of game and restarted. Hitbox seems to be hittable again. Damage is able to continue. Doesn't seem to respond to melee hits very well. AOE partially works.


Testing again... Boss is invulnerable again. No melee or AOE attacks registering hits. Strange result though: every once in a while 1 or 2 hitpoints register as a hit. Not enough to do anything useful, but possibly indicating a hit of some kind?

Hits seem to register when staying out of melee range. Molten blast works relatively effectively. Seems to have more consistent hits register even though melee hits are right against what should be the hitbox.

Still not sure what the cause of the invulnerability is.

Same for me. I had to die and try again and then I managed to kill him. I know other people have linked clips but not sure if mine will provide any further evidence.

PS. Also, in the clip you can see the Warbringer Ancestral Spirits aren't summoning. This is another bug I figured I'd mention even though there are other posts.

Same issue: boss is invulnerable and spears pierce him (Bug Report #721.181.196)

The same problem still persists, after many many tries and characters and months. Zalmarath becomes invulnerable. This time with the huntress, boss has no hitbox after some move the boss makes.

Zalmarath can't be damaged by any of my warrior abilities.

stuck in cruel at this stupid boss with my arty ballistas, GGG fix this, is a blocker lol, how can you leave stuff like this on the happy path?!?!
