Nerf fucking expedition

For me difficulty is ok...is like: you want - try it "if you feel lucky punk"
No complains...but rewards should be better.
Now here is the funny thing: Expedition is the most modular endgame activity we have. So if it's way to difficult, maybe you shouldn't have stacked so many "Monsters gain +100% extra Damage" mods.

It's basically the "cyclist throwing a branch into their own wheel" meme.
Can anyone explain expedition? I don’t understand the mechanic at all. Sometimes he’s like “ohh that’s risky” and when I do that it creates invincible mobs. Nothing good ever drops from it. So what the hell is the point. Seems like a longer variant of the craptastic crates

Expedition is sometiems so fucking dumb.

The mobs sometiems nuke you out of existence in miliseconds.
Espexcially the Ground Explosion are so insanely fast especially if teh mobs get Cast speed from a remnant. Then you dont have a single moment to react. And every explosion does as much damage as a fucking boss.

What were you thinking when creating those Mobs? Why you give them the same damage as a boss???

Sorry to be that blunt, but that's on you.

The explosions need to to be dodged. You either do or you don't, not much to say.

But everything else is difficulty you select. If the monsters are too strong and kill you within milliseconds it means that you made the encounter too hard.

When using a waystone you see the affixes on that waystone. You know what atlas passives you used. In expedition you see the effects you select. All of this contributes to the difficulty. It is 100% your decision how hard you make the encounter.

I am not saying that you do this, but most players complaining about difficulty do this. Most players select the hardest possible difficulty because they want "the loots" and then complain why the logical outcome, them dying, occurs.

I hate to shine light on you but expedition is absolute copypasta from another game. GGG even has rights to this game. So their thought process was copy here and paste there. You welcome
Yeah i currently kinda like expedition as it is the only content i can do on my slowass rapid shot build as it doesn't care about how fast i kill stuff and unlike ritual i can zone out and kill stuff from distance, but on hcssf i never open the nodes i'm not completely or 90% immune to. Because bad mods are way overtuned like "monsters gain 100% extra damage as chaos" and the upsides be like "10% increased quantity of items dropped from excavation chests".

Expedition being the only boss locked behind RNG AFTER you buy the book which is also RNG, needs to GO ASAP.

I want to play this boss and I barely get books, and the ones I buy at 80 do NOT roll the boss, so wasted money.

Trash.

Im at lv 93 i did a hundred tier 15 waystones overall. And that caster monster is absolutely overpowered. Nothing of the normal mobs comes even close. Maybe the meteor guys before the nerf. Those were also pretty fucked up. But nothing compared to teh Caster Runic Monster.

The issue here is u couldtnt dodge it. There was not a single chance to dodge it without having blink and even that would require you to blink every half a second.

It was 4 remnants. The only Issue was the increased Cast speed. That made the mob uncounterable. U werent able to dodge it. Not a single chance. I got hit by 2 of the skills in under 2 seconds. Together tehy did around 10k Dmg undoudgable damage. U would have to blink around every half a second to dodge that skill.
Players aren't balanced in the endgame. Everyone's got the wrong impression of how strong players are.

As such, this conversation is moot. Can't gauge difficulty if you can't see how strong the player is.

Thankfully GGG is getting an idea as to what power levels are acceptable. If you're above that threshold, brace yourself.
