7 months and 3 days have passed since 3.25 Settlers started. This is the longest PoE 1 has went without a new league.
We've heard directly from Chris Wilson that the development of PoE 1 would not be affected by PoE 2.
We've heard directly from Chris Wilson that having releases at an expected time was the best way to release leagues.

Well it has been double that expected time. And people kept their mouths shut for double that expected time. This is not about people being spoiled brats or impatient monkeys. This is people asking for the game that they love, not for the one that they MAY love in 2 years.

In a way, this is people raising their voices so GGG keeps the promises that Chris once made. Maybe is not the best way to do it, but it is the only way to do it.

The whole thing about some of the best players going back to PoE 1 and leaving the second game is another statement of people want 3.26, but not everybody has the platform to do it that way.

So, if you don't understand why this is how it is, you should probably not speak.
