I'm not following a guide, and I'm already one shotting the entire screen in T18 maps on my own xbow invoker build, but I simply want to play with grenades and be just as powerful. if you weren't an absolute midwit, instead of taking 30 seconds to write this nonsense, you'd take a look at my characters and quickly realize that I used to play my own builds in poe 1 as well, and clear everything with ease

there isn't even any build guide for grenades because they're so bad that literally nobody uses them anymore, the ones that exist are either too old or solely for leveling

stop projecting. I see your poe 1 builds are total garbage and you've never been able to get to higher than 93. this is probably because you're not following a build guide despite being clueless, thus you're failing miserably on every character you play, although, this nevertheless imparted a superiority complex within you and an assumption that people who follow guides are stupid. you're delusional. my worst grenade build is most likely way stronger than all your poe 2 builds combined. this doesn't mean I can't ask for buffs, because they're objectively dogshit compared to other archetypes.

Pretty much, yeah. I don't develop but I do enough work adjacent to several different dev teams to know that it's ALWAYS more complicated than the user assumes at first glance. Especially when any legacy software (engine in this case) is involved.

Heck, sometimes the people who could more easily bring you some answers are no longer part of that team, or have moved on from the company entirely. Often, dev work is like translating an ancient language that you've just seen for the first time :P

Uh, it's not really that. They can easily do integration and regression testing in-house (by easily, mean the frameworks exist), but accounting for every edge case of end user hardware/software combinations isn't as easy. They have to pore over millions of logs to try and identify a pattern which could be something as simple as a bad address call.

Software development work is pretty easy until you give it to a customer.
