Very inconvenient
However, I don't think GGG will change.

GGG will die on this trading hill.
We all will suffer for it.

I don't think they should. A full on auction house would be awesome.
Having to stop what you're doing to trade is stinky.
Having to run a bot to do your trades for you is... well it might as well just be an auction house.

I don't know if bot trades are against ToS, and I don't care to find out. Two reasons. I'm not gonna bot, and I do not want to get rid of the trade bots. The trade bots are helping to fix a problem that GGG refuses to do themselves.

Point is that (potential) rulebreakers are getting a much better experience than the rule followers. Because GGG doesn't have an auction house player will have to go to the guys who make bots to solve the issue. I trust GGG to not install malware on my PC a lot more than some dude writing bot code. Unfortunately GGG's stance on that is a simple "Don't do that"

So to sum that all up, GGG will die on this trading hill.
And we all will suffer for it.

On contrary, people who need an "easy" trading is indeed young, unexperienced and hasty.
Imagine how difficult for you to trade a powerful item, make it more precious to you and make you happy for days or weeks long.
But if it's easy come, you wont care for it and gradually be boring with the whole game.
If you are cheat/overprice/scam... or whatever when trading, it's an experience and make it more real life emotions.
If you cant accept that and rage quit, then you will surely rage quit for many other reason when playing this game.
Diablo 3 is a STEADY experience, after AH the whole game destroyed and the damage cant be repaired.
If you can show any MOBILE game that increase players base and last ~14 years like POE, tell us.
You said you not selling in this game so it's pretty sure that u are unexperienced and newbie. So try to play more and learn.

The system last decades and working well and you compare to MOBILE game that last as much as few months or a year.
There are surely many issues in this game but no pro-gammer or steamers complaint about trading here but only newbies.

Trading is so easy in this game compared to any other game I've ever played that has trading.
There is even an overlay for it.
I can see it being a pain for console players only.
