It's EA but they are stick to "no nerf" pollicy ruining EA experience

definetly a weird choice, i would have expected them to balance more frequently, like they did after launch

I would just like to add that there's a few other builds which are meta atm... GGG, please don't just pay attention to howa builds! PLEASE!

They are at the forefront of the worst offenders right now but there is no way they ignore the rest (for long anyway) .

Yeah nobody needs HOWA or heralds to clear juiced maps or even bossing atm. Most of the builds popping up now are very high investment, but HOWA has been a main focus of many people since like week 2.

And I agree on GGG's stance. Mostly. If they nerfed heralds Id be OK with that because it really does trivialize mapping and seems unintentional since the heralds are not supposed to inflict ailments, but outside of that I have no problem with them waiting for economy reset to nerf things.

As a main Invoker i would be fine with Herald being nerfed because Invoker is just too good at mapping , but i do not see why Herald should not be capable of inflicting Chill when it is already not capable of inflicting Frozen . If you disable Chill from Herald , Polcirkeln will probably become a terrible ring instantly ... close range explosions are proc' with Ice Strike which insta-freeze mobs ( no need for Chill + Polcirkeln when you melee a pack ) , long range explosions are only proc' by Herald Chillin + Polcirkeln .

Remove Chill from Herald is imo not the best approach , i would rather they nerf all that damage directly or put a cooldown similar to the one limiting Rage stacking ( it would limit these insta chain-reaction of Herald explosions ) :

All sources of Rage gain on hit are combined into one source. There is a shared cooldown preventing you from generating Rage on Hit from more than one hit every 0.5 seconds.

Adding that cooldown would force us to also use on Herald other Support Gems than "+Crit vs Full Life" , "+Dmg vs Low Life" and so on which made it that strong in the first place .

EDIT :

Well they released the patchnote , no balance nerfs & my build is bricked

Fixed a bug where Minion Pact Support was able to drain the Life of Lingering Illusions.

Basicaly when they want to make big changes like big nerfs or buffs only during "new" 'ea seasons' or milestones like adding classess surely it will take more than 1 year and not 6 months.

Entire STR part of the tree need to be reworked as it offers the LOWEST defenses in the game and armor is the worst defense. Witch can stack life recoup to 80%, stack 20k es, convert dmg taken to fire and a lot of more.

But warrior gets "headspin for 2 second to get 1.5% life regen" or run a marathon for 2% life regen". and no life increases.

In this situation we have barely playable classess and classess that have 5 0000% better efficency and it will not be changed for next 3 months.

Like spark sorcerer that is unkillable vs warrior. Also take a note how it looks on HC and SSF. How drasticaly those differences affects the game.

We need "Agile" patching that will tone game on "live" during EA and more experiments. This is very, very early access and they surely dont know wat they are doing based on state of warrior

it will probably take a year regardless.

i dont think this will always be the policy, i think this is just how they are doing it this time for a number of reasons.

a crazy amount of people are still playing, usually a poe league by the time a month goes by its pretty dead but theres still as many people playing this thing on an average week day as there is on a poe1 league launch.

i think they have all the data they need to make a massive sweeping game balance pass, and to test that properly they need a fresh start. they wont rly learn what they need to from dishing out a string of small changes as they make them so why upset so many players and risk a 'path of nerfs' community outrage by destroying peoples builds if it doesnt rly achieve anything and they wont get the right data until a league reset anyway?

might as well just let people enjoy their builds. they have so much to work on, its kind of irrelevant to them what were doing in game until they finish this batch of development and put it out live.

I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

"buff grenades"

- Buff Grenades (Buff-Grenades)
Regardless of who's right it is interesting to see a thread mad about a no nerf policy in the middle of threads ranting about the nerfs they do.
And guess what? Next league it will be some other “OP” build that ruins trade. Stop complaining. No one cares.
