2FA and also, no reason to have super admin accounts in 2025 when every corporation I've worked for has a distributed PII/PHI/PCI data sharing paradigm that prohibits any one person from knowing enough to fully disclose an individual in the system. Your shipping addresses should only matter to the shipping department. That sort of thinking. Different databases, different security rules, admin accounts (given uniquely to designated people in the department) with specific privileges to that database.
This way you can separate physical address, payment history, PII, PCI from being acquired through a single vulnerability. Internal management can be done on an API level too where all resources are clob allocated based on given roles. Eg what a lower ranked person sees is not what a higher ranked person sees. |
