Thx for the link. Left a supportive comment there, since it is a good idea.
Also mentioned the link in the original post

i m not an SSFer i want SSF to remain as it always has been GGG doesnt like balancing 2 different economies.

for me i would go on a different tangent where players get enough currency/drops so that players can reasonably get upgrades as a baseline, regardless of league.

it should be enough so players dont feel forced to trade but players would still want to trade for very high valued items

I find your first sentence so intrinsically weird
- you're NOT, but you want.
- you want because someone else doesn't like something

Other than that, I'd say different circumstances call for different measures, And I'd say that if GGG added a flat 30% drop change for all currencies in SSF (even if just for 1 league, to see what happens), it would be a GREAT experiment. I, for one, being an SSFer, would love it, and I predict many other SSFers would too.
I'm confused. SSF is there for streamers. Nothing more, nothing less. There is nothing stopping you from making a character in trade and gasp, not trading. I'll never understand why people think devs need to make game modes with specific rulesets when they can just do it themselves.

put it this way

1. i am not an ssf player
2. i do NOT want to be an ssf player
3. i want the game in the state that i dont feel compelled to trade for upgrades/fixing my gear at baseline without taking too much of a time to grind.
4. i would still like the option to trade but i need to emphasize that i want the game to be in a state then i dont feel compelled to.
5. if that were to be achieved, where i dont feel compelled to trade, in an essence i m playing a form of "ssf" without the ssf tag.
6. the only way to do this is to make crafting materials and drop more generous

so when you say 30% drop change, i would say why limit it to SSF?

make it global to all game modes.

the entire premise of SSF league is that its the exact same of non ssf without any additional bonuses and with trade disabled.

its a badge of honour for them

for me, it hurts no one and takes minimal resources from ggg.

I think you don't really undestand the point of SSF. I agree that one may think SF as (standard, but without trade), but I, myself, think of it as just (tradeless, but not necessarily equal to standard... though it can be.

And again, if the idea is "trandeless standard", and standard allows party, then we go back to my first suggestion: Drop the Solo from SSF and leave it as just SF.

And I still believe they can cohexist even with 2 completely different drop tables (it's not what I'm proposing though).

I'm not a streamer, making me the living proof that you're wrong. I'm also 100% sure there are many other NON streamers playing SSF (I talk to them).

I've also already agreed that one can play any game any way they like, even adding personally chosen handicaps, to make the game their own. But I've also argued the point that SF is great because, by its nature, it creates a real where you play (and pseudo compete) with other people without EVER having to even botter or worry about trading, item value, botting, and whatnot. I suggest you read the discussion so far.

Also "need" (in "devs need to...") is a strong word. No one "needs" anything (the game itself doesn't NEED to exist, for instance), but still, people are free to ask and devs are free to provide, if they see benefit into it. And if devs CAN provide something that will make MORE players stick around and ENJOY staying... I see no reason why they shouldn't. I'd even argue that it is stupid from the playerbase to raise against it.

Lol. again with the "badge of honour" thing xD
But yeah. Minimal resources, only benefits... might aswell, right?

lol i do understand SSF and the proposed SF clearly. i also know what you want which is a NEW version of notrade but with more drops as compensation.

GGG does not want 2 different economies to exist.

they already split the game between HC/SC, STD/Temp leagues.

GGG has no time to make balance changes for a new SSF+good loot league. in fact no devs do this. they see the market and adjust drops globally for all leagues.

and again. it is a badge of honour.

SSF/SF is just that. you can actually play that way without GGG making a single change to the game. even SSF. you can play SSF on a normal trade league. you just need to not trade and not party.

simple as that.

but yeah, i agree that if it takes minimal resources. it can be a good idea for ggg to implement it.

but now that i think of it, i'll add that only if ENOUGH people ask for it. if its just 1-2 persons then its not that important for ggg to prioritize.
