See, I was right 😂👍❕❕❕ Is this the end of PoE1? Let’s talk about GGG’s direction ❕❕❕

This curve is a little generic and broadly applicable but kind of neglects the impact of live service model in terms ups and downs during that curve.
Thanks for all the fish!

I’m coping. Settlers was poe1 best league and I’m pretty sure poe1 hit a new peak on steam with settlers. Poe2 is now sitting at like 50k above poe1 peak and I have a feeling average player numbers will continue to drop. GGG would be mental to abandon poe1. #coping

Settlers was successful because of the poe2 hype. Even I came back to play it (on my main account) because I figured it might be the last league.
So after a month of denial & anger you've already reached bargaining .
That was quick .

And yes, maybe 3.26 will drop and blow us all away. Maybe PoE1 will get the attention it deserves, and I’ll be proven wrong. I really hope that happens.

I like how you ended your speech with a joke.
So classy...

I think you're asking for too much from GGG with that.
PoE1 Dead
PoE2 Dead on Arrival
PoEM ???????
You guys are so dramatic, lol.

How do you even function in daily life, when you react this violently and despairingly to the news that a league is being delayed.

Like, even in the worst case scenario, all that happens is that a good ARPG stops being supported. There will be other games in that case, it's not the end of the world.

On top of that, it's also not even that likely that PoE1 will stop being supported. As long as there's good money in supporting it, they will keep doing it.

As long as there’s good money???

You mean the damn game that funded poe2 and poe1 and GGG and everything?

Wait until the D4 refugees and people like you drop POE2.

Looks like the end of me playing GGG games honestly. I have 0 interest in poe 2. PoE 1 is dead now so idk what they were thinking. They just traded player base to one that's not been dedicated for a decade+
So lose a 12 year player for a D4 player? That is what is going on with poe2 numbers.

I don't know why you would do this either. They are trading hardcore dedicated, paying customers for a hype spike that will be gone like with most other ARPGs that are similar to it.

People like us are the reason GGG employees get a paycheck. People like us are the reason they got to develop PoE 2. If we didn't care, the company would've died like 5 years ago.
