Path of Exile is a live-service game. Regular updates, new support packs, and cosmetics—doesn’t that fit the definition of a live-service game? They generate revenue through new leagues. Your argument doesn’t hold up at all.

I can keep playing it occasionally, but not all the time if there’s nothing new and you can’t argue against that. For example, as you mentioned, even fans of Diablo 2 can’t play it all the time because there’s nothing new. They play it occasionally because they love it, but they can’t spam it without fresh content. The live-service content is one of the things that made PoE 1 so awesome.

GGG slowly morphing PoE into a live service wannabe to respond to your craving for one did not make PoE "awesome" , it made it run into a doom-to-fail scenario where the absence of update immediately commute the game into life or death situation . So stop treating GGG as demons refusing to deliver your semestrial drug fix :
you pushed them into this non-sustainable strategy yourselves and this expectable outcome is now on you .

Again you all clearly behave like the typical MMO audience , time to move to your natural habitat .

It was GGG who decided to make PoE free-to-play, not the players. It’s their economic strategy, and they decided it all on their own. If they’ve managed to grow so much, it’s thanks to this, since every new season, all the supporters buy their cosmetic products.

But I should probably stop responding to you because I can see you don’t know what you’re talking about. Your profile is private, so you’ve probably never played PoE before PoE 2. Your oldest posts on the forum date back to the release of PoE 2. So I wonder how you can tell us what Path of Exile is.

If games had to stick strictly to their original style and not innovate, then what about PoE 2, which mixes ARPG and Souls-like elements? Yet you seem to enjoy PoE 2 a lot, so be happy with this system. If you love PoE 2 so much, wouldn’t you want it to be maintained persistently over time so you can keep having fun?

As for us fans of PoE 1, we are unhappy with GGG's lack of transparency regarding PoE 1. We don’t want PoE 2 to be canceled at all; we simply want them to do what they told us they would do and what we supported them for maintaining PoE 1.

If you’re still unable to understand this, there’s nothing more I can do for you.

Would it be possible to please share information / timeline regarding next POE1 League start? It was postponed to Late January, which is in 5-15 days, but there's usually a big stream announcement, teasers, etc. 2 weeks prior.

Are we to conclude that 3.26 will only be released mid Feb?
Please let us know, there's been a consistent challenge this past year to coordinate time off work with league launches.

They mentioned in the live Q and A of PoE2 live stream they delayed 3.26 announcement until end of February. So they still have 5 weeks to talk about it.

They made the comment super casually in the Q and A so a lot of people missed it.

Yeah they mentioned it in the launch before PoE2 that 3.26 live stream was end of february. Would like to see a post to confirm its on time though.

I only saw the question from one of the streamer ghazzy or something where he asked about 3.26 and jonathan just said lets not get into it.

Wait in which stream did that happen? the one last sunday?
