GGG, Be Transparent: What’s Next for PoE 1
" Agreed. Unless there are some major changes to how PoE 2 is played, I can't see myself playing through the game more than once, not even sure I would care about maps. Poe 1 I still enjoy. If they kill that off, I will find another game, and Path of Exile will be a fond memory, just like Diablo 2 is. If they aren't going to make new leagues or new content for PoE 1 for a long time, then just give us the option of playing previous leagues with new characters (They could rotate out, with 2 new leagues at a time). They could removed known exploits, but apply the same stats/skills so we aren't trying to play an old league with current nerfs/buffs. I'm really hoping they'll keep what they promised here. I've played PoE1 a lot in the past, and came back for PoE2, even got my wife to get in to it too. After a week we both jumped over to PoE1. Right now I'd so much rather take a PoE1 season rather than anything they could possibly roll out for poe2 in a timely fashion.
I'm sure PoE2 will eventually be comparable with PoE1, but right now it's just so much less fun. |
