Finishing maps - eventually leading to "Map attempted"

Finally got to maps and found out that finishing a map does not guarantee a completion on the atlas.

I have not died in a map yet, not disconnected and finished them all, yet I have several maps that are blocked saying "map attempted".

The only thing I can think of is that I not always properly log out and use alt-f4 to just quit the game.
This is of course outside of the map, after selling all stuff and being afk for a bit.

Has anyone had this same issue? It feels like I just started but get forced to redo maps for no reason.

I finished a map earlier, gor the "map completed" message, went around for 5 minutes killing stragglers and looting stuff, opened a portal, got a couple of "Failed to join any instance" message, and the game booted me out.

Apparently there was something with the server, checked Discord and everyone was booted out.

Managed to log back in 5-7 minutes later, went to the map device, and the freaking map that I completed now says "map attempted".

Leaving aside the whole system they implemented with 1 life/attempt, but 6 portals, which seems beyond stupid, getting a "map attempted" for a map you cleared is like a spit in the face, waste of time clearing that node.

I wish they would redo the whole system into something fairer overall, keep the xp loss penalty when dying after 90, but don't waste our time spent map progression.

I have had 2 occurances of the "Map attempted" issue in the last week.

I both cases, I have had the "Map Complteded" message, had the status of the map show "Map Completed". I have the logged off soon after completing the map.

When I next log back in the Atlas show the map as "Map Attempted" and requires me to rerun the map tp progress.
