Where are the nerfs?

He's played a mace Titan and didn't see much issue into maps.

New classes, weapons, economy will be a new league. 2 months on that likely.

Warrior is like 5 times slower than any other build. There is certainly some problems.

Jonathan seemed really detached and not concerned about the issues the forums are screaming for, which is not to say he isn't involved, but clearly they didn't pay much attention to the forums, if any, over the break.

As he should be. As game director he has to have the bigger picture in mind. Not care about some isolated issues a small group of players have. Well actually that is not really correct. They do care about the feedback and will take a look at it. Other issues just have a higher priority.

Especially because many of these issues are simply lack of understanding of game mechanics, which can be learned and therefor is a self solving issue.

As an example, many players do not know how conversion or damage scaling works, don't understand the difference between damage avoidance and mitigation, don't read affixes on waystones and so on.

As Jonathan and Mark stated in reference to map sustain. They did not have the issue and therefor they need to further check why some people have difficulty sustaining maps. My best guess, they die too often and therefor do not get all the loot/waystones from the maps they run. And when I look at some forum threads that players want to die in 25% of their maps ... well then you have your explanation for that self made issue.

people should focus on their own builds and not what others are doing.

and nobody stops you leveling and playing some op shit anyways
d:-D*
Its pretty hard to focus on your own build when only a handful of builds or item combinations allow you to push endgame, and those items are priced by people playing top builds.

So you just missed the part where they said balancing would come with the new league???? ya know like GGG has always done

I think you missed the point of things being EA and major balances should be happening without carrying about a new league or economy. It's not even about adding new its about fixing what is there and they flat out refuse to fix classes and gems that need major help.

Pretty pathetic excuse to ignore the problem when the entire point of all the testing is to fix things like class balance. And Diablo 4 season 7 is out in a week in a half. PoE2 isn't going to get anywhere if they are trying to run league/season during a testing phase where everything is going to get reset on official launch.

Lmfao, okay buddy.

I am disappointed by the video. Reluctance with dealing with blatantly overpowered crap will not do good.

It was clear he was referring to exactly that. Who wants to keep playing when the only real way to play (unless you want to not be able to compete) is 4-5 builds.

It's like you are purposely shooting yourself in the foot playing anything else. Then they don't get a divers set of skills tested becasue they funnled everyone into just a few builds.

When 50% of trade is playing one classes I think some nerfs are in order.

When I see a comment like this my only thoughts are really you didn't want to get your cash cow Archmage or HOWA nerfed.

Nah I pretty much always play minions and I haven't played in 2 weeks there's no reason until stuff is added. Tried all the classes I wanted to, got 2 into late maps and killed arbiter with both. I'm done, that's where I would stop in any league unless I'm going for the challenges. I'll be back in march/april when we get the league.
