My Titan Warrior | Magma Barrier & Resonating Shield | Corpse Flesh Eater (Healing)
" Yyy, i think yes. I planned to level up Warbringer to see how things works on him, with same build but without Avatar of Fire. Broken Armour (armour explosion), negative armour values = more physical damage from Resonating Shield, Shield Charge. |

This Build looks fun but i have a question.
I find another one like this but he use Warbringer and some their choice is different and he choice Lay siege. You are working and testing this build? I find both really good but i see yours more "cheap" and easy to craft. can you update the maxroll with your right now equips? You make any change? Sorry for asking so many question and keep the good work, your idea of build make me come back for PoE 2 |

" I have Lay Siege in my amulet. I will update maxroll tomorow. |
|
" Thank you! |
|
I forget to ask.
Can you show your build killing bosses? |

" I'm not playing anymore on this build because it's boring. New one is uber tankish which you can see here. Core of gameplay is the same, but slower with less aoe and insane health regen. https://maxroll.gg/poe2/planner/l51k10yd https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kxzzf_H_PZY https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7knQZ_Jax6I&lc=Ugw8anTsm5ZJoc9GymJ4AaABAg https://youtu.be/GWG8c7CnTk8?si=kV4IGyxHodeGN2Og |

" I have a SSF 83 Warbringer and I couldn't make this work. The trouble is armour explosion and magma barrier both do 100% fire while armour (that you're breaking) is about physical. But the Warbringer gets around bossing issue mentioned here with Sunder which does astronomical damage against negative armour. I came here reading this thread hoping to alleviate my build's map clearing woes, totally opposite problem for me because bosses only take 2-4 sunders to kill but a slow sunder windup for each group of enemies is terrible. The build outlined in this thread might be able to still use sunder, swapping to a pair of two-handers with +6-8 melee skill level each will deliver a serious sunder. | |
" That's why you Use Resonating Shield to break armour and also proc Magma Barrier. I’ve fine-tuned the build to work exactly how I wanted. Resonating Shield shreds armor with explosions, and Magma Barrier finishes off whatever’s left. The key piece here is Trampletoe boots, which generate overkill damage. The info in this thread is outdated now, and I don’t have the time or motivation to update it. You can check out the current build on my YouTube channel—links are above. The whole setup is built around Resonating Shield and Magma Barrier. That’s all it needs—adding other, slower combos doesn’t make sense because the goal was to create a warrior that’s always moving and effective in every situation, from boss fights to map clearing. And that’s exactly what it does. In boss fights, the build feels super tanky. Life regen is so high that health barely drops, and if it does, it refills instantly. The damage mitigation is so good that I can tank most hits without any problem. |

" Now I get it. So you built this around negative armor break. Just keep in mind that if you're using Avatar of Fire, your attacks are converted to Fire, so it's an elemental-based build. If I go with Warbringer, I think investing in Encase in Jade or Warcries would be a better choice than armor break. I was mistaken earlier when I said this would deal more damage to negatively broken armor values. The Armor Break mechanic only applies to explosions that can kill mobs, which then trigger chaining from the Trampletoe Boots. |
|
Avatar of Fire would help make everything fire so I can focus on fire nodes instead of physical, but doing so eliminates any damage boost you would get from armor breaking which is allowing sunder to function.
I think the only way for me to maintain sunder, which I need in SSF to get the damage for tier 15s, is to go down the warcry branch and use corrupting cry. Thank you for the thread, it gave me some ideas and I'll try rolling a Titan to see this build in action. |
