Except nobody did.

It's a verifiable fact though that any Chinese corporation HAS TO collude with the government if asked, otherwise they're out of business.

And Tencent in particular has just been deemed a Military Company by the US Government.

You can joke about this all you want but some people have principles in life, and it makes me sick that I spent money with this company.

My bad for not doing more research, I was falling for this nonsensical "good guy" narrative when it comes to GGG.

It's a computer game, no one is forcing you to go anywhere near it

It's not like a Saudi funded attempt to overthrow democracy in favour of oligarchy by suffocating international debate or anything
