I'm done with the game. This end game sucks.

They are owned by tencent but their size and budgetary constraints still put them far from AAA.

People need to stop pretending this this is a fully-fledged, polished & finished release. Imagine if this was the intended end-game... that would indeed be a literal joke, good thing it isn't at all though.

But we need to also accept this is not early access worthy.

This is beta testing AT BEST. The sheer amount of obviously poor game design choices and crashes this game has is unacceptable for something labeled as "early access".

I agree with that, it is essentially a paid beta test and I am sure that it will last a lot longer than the 6 months that GGG projected, probably actually 1 year or longer.
Yes.

Eh, we aren't lacking people, despite whatever your delusions might indicate.
Evidently you missed that this is a beta.
Bye!

Where are the updates and communication for this beta? People are letting GGG get away with shit that they wouldn't let other companies get away with.

There have been numerous hot fixes and at least 1 or 2 updates since we got access, then there was a weird time period of a holiday where we kept playing but they didn't keep working.

I dunno what people expect but even after making decisions on what you want to fix/change it takes time to actually make the fixes and get them to work.

I would not put out a post saying "our next update will have X and Y" until they actually worked.

How the F would you know anything about their budget?

Oh you don't? I see.

Please share some sources about their budgets and team sizes. You seem to have access to information we don't.

but you do?

I don't need to know anything other than a parent company with a 500$ billion net worth is beneficial to a gaming company lmao.

why are you defending a company like this?

Size wise Larian is about 2-3 times larger. Budget wise it’s probably closer to 10x higher. GGG operates off micro transactions along with having a nonexistent marketing team. You’re lying to yourselves if you think their steam numbers aren’t impressive.

I wasn't defending them at all, I was objecting to the "their size and budgetary constraints still put them far from AAA." part.
