Ban Swapscammers

As another feedback, please ban swap scammers - new players who are not used to this practice will get tilted off the earth.

I myself tried buying certain items, like Morio Incivtus and it's mostly a swap scam ... also other way round with the "missing exalt" scam

Even tho it's early access, this leaves a mark on players to not enjoy the game.

either be on your toes with that, or find another solution to a safe trading

thanks

do you mean those who try to pay exalts with alch for example?
There is already a fix for that...open eyes.
+1
They're only a blight on the game. No mercy for scammers.

No, they're good for showing how garbage trade is, and they haven't even done anything wrong. No one's making you click accept.
ok what's a swap scam

swapping out an item just as you're about to click accept?

If that's what they're doing maybe the answer is to wait a few seconds before clicking accept? idk what you're talking about tbh

Nice try making the developer responsible for something you can avoid. Don't be stupid - simple as that :)

Have a great day!

as example:
Morio Invictus with 5% stats and 10% all res costs 26-30+ divine
you wanna buy from a guy, as you put the currency in the trade window he is waiting with the item until all currency is in, then puts in a morio invicuts with 5% stats and 10% global defences, which is worth nothing in comparison and quickly hits accept.

I can see people easily saying "yo just open your eyes etc" - to be clear, this didn't happen to me, but the scam attempt was happening 5 times in a row today with described item.

A new player who is excited for a big item purchase may not look twice on the item, just quickly hovers over and hits accept, especially when he would receive a discount etc etc
How someone can be so ignorant and say its nothing devs care about, just shows the level of elitism that is sadly part of poe, if ur that good, u clearly dont need the forum here to prove it, so spend your ressources somewhere else, on reddit of smth.

Are you genuinely under the impression that they do not ban scammers at the moment?

What is this "How is this allowed!?" logic?
Yes.

not sure how the issue is that I bring this topic up when it happened 5 times in a row to me just in the past 25minutes.
But ok, lets keep talking about that.

I hope they ban such accounts, all I want to do is emphasise on it how bad it is and how often it happens.

if you can't keep yourself from typing then feel free to swamp the thread more with it
