computer froze first map I tried to enter with multithread on


7800x3d + 4080 Super

No freezes since this hotfix. Faster loading, more fps and stability - from 15-90 low to 60-100 high), no hard resets for 8h playing. No stuttering during 'loading creeps on map'. Much, much better. Good job!

i5-11400f + rtx 3060 ti

@EDIT: today are the same issues - hard resets, much low dps - unplayable

The 0.1.0f hotfix addressing CPU adjustments has not delivered noticeable improvements. Crashes persist, and there is an urgent need for proper optimization rather than temporary fixes. The current state continues to hinder gameplay for many players, as reflected in community feedback, with some even reporting worsened performance.

The performance is much worse after the patch, fps drops in stress (e.g. Similacrum) to 4 (!), bottlenecking on CPU.

i5-12600KF + RTX4070.

I was using Windows10, but after the latest GGG patch, I decided to test Windows11 24H2. Now, my game simply has a lot of stuttering, lag spikes, dropping frames... Currently using DX12 with everything at minimum/sound effects turned off. I will test with Vulkan, but I don't think it will improve anything. Please GGG, FOCUS ON FIXING THE SERIOUS PROBLEMS!!!

Looks like we are going back and forth here... It was better a few days, now back on stutterings and my CPU can act as a toaster in some maps (Savannah for ex) for no apparent reasons.
So good luck finding solutions I guess, as apparently this is the only thing that can save us...

Crashing even worse. Need to use POEUncrasher to be able play.
