Minion fix?
so have they talked about fixing minion pathing?
or is this the state that minions is going to be at for a long while going forward? my problems with minions right now are a few. first, they get stuck on imo more then 50% of the maps. and since we cant pick and choose what types of maps to play like we can in poe1, this is partially killing my desire to play poe2 right now. second, why do minions die if you run to far from them or when they get stuck? this hamstrings the speed at which you can move at compared to all other non-minion classes fixes? i think a lot of the problems with minions would be fixed if they could "sense" when they get stuck and then they could walk past each other. and since we dont have re "recall minion" spell from poe1, i think if you walk to far from your minions, then they should teleport to the player i might be wrong, but i dont think that these *"quick" fixes would be game breaking. tell me if you think i am wrong? I just do not understand how GGG went from well made minion gameplay experience in PoE1 to this. Isn't new game version should be evolution, not degradation?

Ya minions are awful without convocation, could barely do the lead up to xesht, even failed it one time.
Despawning 50 times a map as well and essentially having a 4 sexond wind up every pack is what what made me stop playing. My ssf totem character with significantly worse gear cleara twice as fast as my minion character in trade that had some pretty sick gear. |

I switched to lightning mages instead of reavers for map clearing solely because them getting stuck in doorways ect, at least the mages can shoot through the doors and some walls apparently. (Reavers still good for bosses) The revive while too far away thing is annoying but managable. I find I don't outrun them unless they are fighting. The main thing is if I want to skip a mob pack then that becomes a bit of a problem or if I am forced to reposition too far away, but I feel like this is intended to make things a little more strategic in your positioning.
