Chronomancer - No Uniques Required - Beginner Friendly - Lightning Warp
" Great explanation here! I agree with you in that we should change up the passive tree order here. However, instead of Power Conduction (25% Shock Magnitude), we should go for Alternating Currents (55% Shock magnitude). This ends up being an additional ~14% shock on top of 43% Mana Regeneration (which this build really enjoys). As you mention though - depending on your gear, you'll probably be doing enough damage where Ele Pen doesn't matter much, so I would again encourage folks to change up the tree as it fits them best when getting into deep end game. I'll get the build updated and add a section to note it as well. Thanks! |

" Hello! Thanks for asking! For the most part, the build looks fine to me, maybe a few optimizations you could make here or there. I would ask some basic questions I always start off with - What's your effective HP pool? Are your resistances maxed? What Defensive buffs/layers are you utilizing? |

Anyone have a video?
Thanks for exploring things people deem weak! Game has so much to offer already | |
" I would really appreciate for the ideas if you have some! For the questions, I have around 1.6-1.7k HP pool (reminding that as BL I have up to 3.2-3.4k), ES is 5k and all elemental resistances is 76% and chaos 75%. For defensive buffs I used only Grim Feast. Other buffs is Cast on Crit and Cast on Shock. Oh! I remembered other issue - Mana is a problem on Bosses because CoC and CoS procs draining mana pool to 0 in seconds |

" Hey Zeratul Uchiha! (That's a pretty terrifying combination of characters!) My Twitch is https://www.twitch.tv/jessesme. I just started streaming again more consistently (usually 6PM-11PM ET) with PoE2 release and have been enjoying the conversations of folks dropping in to chat. I would love for you to join up too if you're free! Thank you for asking! |

" Hmmm... I can totally see the CoC, CoS draining your pool like crazy. I don't think you should be getting one shot very often with your defensives, even I don't get one shot and I have 20% Cold Resistance on one of my new characters. You could try dipping into "% damage taken from Mana before life" to pad your life pool more. I am curious though - with the base life cost of spells being equal to their mana costs - are you life draining yourself down to the point where you will likely be one-shot? This kind of build typically relies on having strong layered defensives and being max on HP almost all the time because we teleport in the middle of packs. With Chronomancer, you can just warp back out of packs if theres danger, but with everyone else, theres at least a ~4 second cooldown on Blink. |

" Maybe it is a really good idea to get some "% damage taken from Mana before life", I'll try! For now I still experimenting with the build. I tried to remove Cast on X skills and to compensate added Archmage to resolve Mana issue, but overall it's looks the same regarding Mana, so maybe I will bring down Grim Feast and add Mana Remnant, not sure though. Also I was able to finally get a 4th Ascendancy point and get Grasping Wounds (25% of Life Loss from Hits is prevented, then that much Life is lost over 4 seconds instead) it should help. " While clearing trash HP is usually overcapped because of the effect Life Remnants (getting HP orb on Crit every 2 sec and 25% to get orb on kill) so HP always ok. But when you try to kill boss... oh well boy, get ready ur flasks cause u will drink them like crazy 😅. I find unexpected thing that Lightning Bolt from the Choir of the Storm, 1st, trigger itself on crit, 2nd, cost mana! even that tooltip haven't such line. And with this boss fights looks like: 1. Drain all your mana on Lightning Orbs and Warps 2. Dring Mana flask 3. Repeat 1-2 till flask is over 4. Running around boss while procs of Lightning Bolt draining ur Mana preventing it from restoring. |

" Interesting! In that case, I would definitely recommend getting some quick Mana Regeneration nodes. Ether Flows is a great node and gives us ~70% Mana regen with three skill points. As lightning warp, you are barely ever standing still, so you should have near 100% uptime on it. If you can afford it, I would also get Arcane Intensity, as it helps you scale even more, which will make bossing faster as well. |
