POE 2 keeps crashing

I've been repeatedly crashing, lucky if I get through a map.

It wasn't like this when the game launched for me, it started recently.

It's nearly unplayable because it's a toss up if the game counts my crash as a death or not, best case scenario I lose a portal.

Playing co-op I crashed in a boss fight, couldn't even join back in because the game is so freaking strict about the whole one-attempt policy. It's BS, I didn't die, let me back in the map. Punishing us, because of the game's crashing problem, is miserable.

I had the same thing happen to me out of the blue, everything was ok before

I am experiencing a recurring issue in Act 2 while entering The Forsaken Son. Every time I approach the Azarian boss, the game crashes, and I am unable to log back in for a while. I have been trying to resolve this issue for the 24 hours without success. Pls somebodyhelp me!!!

It' s quite good PC, not a wooden one!

i had something similar after 0x12b microcode bios upgrade and fixed it with a single bios setting.

i see most people here are using amd cpus tho so it's a different issue i guess.

edit: "CPU lite load" from [normal] to [intel's default]
was the setting on MSI bios.

it also fixed ACCESS_VIOLATION (memory couldn't be "read") crashes on wow.

Can you tell me how you fix it pls?

I finally solve the issue. I verified the game folder from steam Po2 properties, installed files and then i runned the game from program files, steam, steam apps, common, Path of exile 2, PathOfExile_x64Steam.
aaaaand boom it works!!!

THIS GAME CRASHES WHEN YOU SWAP WEAPONS AND ALSO when in main WINDOW IN FULL MODE NOT WINDOW MODE JUST MINIZES FOR NO REASON AND OF COURSE I DIED LOST EXPERIENCE ...... REALLY I CAN BELIEVE ALL THE CRASHES THIS GAME IS WAY NOT READY for the public AND SUCKS TO PLAY
