I don't think you can compare running an online storefront with a few hundred items to having a polished, stable and fully developed game with 100s of systems interacting with one another.. that's not even logical.

All the OP really did was announce he was rage quitting, which is his/her right but I hesitate to call that feedback. Be critical, provide your frustrations and maybe solutions you'd like to see implemented..or not, its the devs jobs to create solutions. But either way, try to create an actual discussion rather than just rage quit and tell everyone lol.

No, but you CAN compare running an online storefront with a single one of those items and/or one of those systems interacting with another, yet they chose the storefront anyways. If you don't understand why this is irritating during a beta test that already comes with an entry fee, then I would recommend trying to expand your pallet beyond the taste of boots.
Don't get me wrong, there's a lot of things wrong with the game and your feedback, opinion and experience are totally valid, but the game is clearly in beta state. I understand that to some, "Early Access" means that you get to play the game before the others and expect only a minimal amount of bugs, but in the case of PoE2, it's a pre-release stage build that could mean anything.

So yeah, except those who got their key for free, everyone paid to be part of what is essentially a mid to late beta build, just like we did with PoE 12 to 13 years ago.

With half the campaign, half the maps, half the classes, and as such, half the skill gems planned on release, we're clearly not playing a "final build" and yeah, as a result the game will feel empty. It's build 0.1.0.

As Ceiu#7789 pointed out, it's important to understand that regardless of the monicker used by the GGG marketing team, this is not a complete game. It could have been called a "Closed Beta" with "paid" invitation key, but clearly, "Early Access" surely is used more these days when it comes to selling access to a minimally viable product.

I'll give GGG the benefit of the doubt that in the end, they'll release a complete product once they're done with the Early Access, which honestly could take more time than initially planned.

Until then, we'll be faced with a lot of cast on death mechanics / bugs / economy breaking exploits, etc. Better now than at release...

OP has the right idea though : When something like that happens and stresses or frustrate you so much, it's better to quit the game. Hopefully, you'll come back later to a game that is in a much better state.

This is not beta or test client. This is early access... And devs are lost. Game feels empty.

It literally is. So funny that people ignore the big blue banner on steam saying the game is still under development and only play it if you want to play it in it's current state.

So much for reading comprehension.
I think if your only goal was something like the citadel you have a player issue and you're not a massive fan of testing out different builds/skill variations.

Anyone who uses Trade especially is really just playing a solo experience questionably.
