"GGG’s Complete Disregard: Refund Ignored After 1 Month of Crashes"

I want to share my incredibly frustrating experience with GGG support, as I believe everyone deserves to know how poorly this company handles its players’ concerns.

For over a month, I’ve been dealing with game-breaking crashes, hard freezes, and even PC resets while playing. These issues rendered Path of Exile completely unplayable for me. Despite multiple patches during this time, none of them resolved the problem. I patiently waited, hoping GGG would address these issues, but nothing changed.

When I finally decided enough was enough, I contacted GGG support to request a refund for the $240 Warlord of the Karui Supporter Pack I purchased. Considering I can’t even play the game due to their technical shortcomings, I felt it was a reasonable request.

At first, they responded, asking for details to process my refund. I provided everything they needed immediately, but after that? Silence. It’s been over a week since I sent all the requested information, and I’ve received no updates, no follow-ups—nothing.

It’s shocking to see how little GGG cares about their players. I’ve supported this company financially, only to be ignored when I needed help. They’re more than happy to take your money but disappear when their game causes problems they won’t or can’t fix.

If you’re considering spending money on Path of Exile, think twice. Their support is unresponsive, their communication is nonexistent, and their priorities are clear—they care more about cashing in than addressing player concerns.

I’m posting this to warn others about GGG’s disgraceful handling of their players. Don’t waste your time or money on a company that refuses to take responsibility for their own failures.

Ignore these idiots like bvanharjr, they think everyone has the same hardware. Crashes are legitimately getting worse having played through for the last month. I don't blame you for quitting as I've played significantly less now as well.
Just a fyi: if you go through with the refund of a supporter pack, your account will most likely get permabanned.
The devs have been on holiday just like everyone else. These things will be fixed when they are back, Do you expect to ditch their families and break time to fix your problems.

No they won't (not in any kind of timely manner as is kind of implied here). It's been like this since launch of EA. I have had a single reply over the last month and a half. Their support is atrocious. No "auto generated" receiving messages, no response of any kind... just silence. The only response I ever received asked a question that was answered in the original email.

Why dont you just fix your rig so it doesnt crash since almost no one but you is experiencing crashes.

You can say "ignore us" like school children with your fingers in your ears...

It’s clear you’re uninformed about the actual issue, so let me break it down for you. The crashes and freezes are widely reported by tens of thousands of players using Windows 11 24H2, and this has been acknowledged in various forums and threads. It’s not a problem with my hardware—my system features a 4080 and a 7800X3D, far beyond what’s required to run Path of Exile 2.

This is a software compatibility issue caused by GGG’s inability to optimize their game for this specific Windows update. Blaming the player’s rig when it’s a known problem affecting many is not only ignorant but also dismissive of the real issue.

Before jumping to conclusions, I suggest you do some research and educate yourself on the situation instead of making baseless claims.
